WHAT IF MY CAMERA STOPS WORKING
Locate and press the 'reset' button on the camera. If your camera is a dash cam, try to reformat your SD card as most often it is the card and not the camera. Refer to the manual for further instructions. It is recommended to only use Kingston High Endurance 64gb sd cards for all dash cameras. Warranty will not be covered if these sd cards are not utilized. Verification of reformatting will be required for warranty purposes.
If your camera is a body camera; turn the camera off and then on. No luck? Press the reset button (refer to owner's manual). Should required to move further, locate the reset to default on the menu screen. For further information please contact us and we will get back to you quickly.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I REFORMAT MY SD CARD
You should reformat your SD card once every 30 days to ensure it is working properly
WHAT IF I DON'T REFORMAT MY SD CARD EVERY 30 DAYS
Failing to reformat an sd card could result in your camera's firmware becoming corrupted and making the camera inoperative. An sd card should really only be used for approximately 60 days before being recycled. SD cards are subject to breakdowns like any electronic component and as such should be monitored with regularity.
WHAT SD CARD IS RECOMMENDED FOR USE
A kingston High Endurance Class 10 64gb sd card is our recommended use unless an sd card is provided with your purchase.
